The name in your passport needs to match the name on your travel ticket/s. If you’ve changed your name and you want this in your passport, you need to apply for a new passport.

A passport may now be issued in an applicant’s preferred sex / gender of M (male), F (female) or X (indeterminate/unspecified), without the need to amend these details on your birth or citizenship record.

Documents not in English must be translated
You should get any documents not in English translated by a translation service that is approved by the Department of Internal Affairs. We will also accept official translations of documents into English by the issuing Government agency or a New Zealand diplomatic post. In addition, we will accept translations made by a court in the country of origin if they have been authenticated by that country's diplomatic post in New Zealand.
