Does your child need an endorsement?
An endorsement is a written statement that confirms who your child is. The endorsement appears on the observation page of your child's passport if:

your child wears a head covering for religious or medical reasons

your child's given names or surname are longer than 48 characters
-
your child's passport is signed in error.
Do any of these situations apply to your child?
Yes
Unfortunately you can’t apply online. You need to complete our online editable PDF, print and send it to us. You also need a recent photograph of your child that meets our requirements.
No
Great you can apply to renew your child's passport online! You can apply for multiple children at one time either as an addition to your own Adult Renewal or Adult Verified application, or on their own. The Adult Renewal application will need to be completed first; if you start with a child you will only be able to add more children.
